| Lucky Girl - Kirsten Proffit | ||

Produced by Bruce Witkin with Kirsten Proffit Additional Production by *Peter Malick and **Rick Neigher LUCKY GIRL is the debut release from singer/songwriter Kirsten Proffit, a powerful new creative talent in pop music. Aided by musicians Bruce Witkin (Vanessa Paradis), Michael Lockwood (Fiona Apple, Aimee Mann), Warren Huart (Star 69), Rick Neigher (Michelle Branch), Doug Nahory (Alanis Morissette), Jim Bacchi, Rob Klonel and Karen Teperberg, the collection is beautifully produced by Witkin along with Proffit. Of special note on the album is her collaboration with Peter Malick. Malick brought an unknown Norah Jones into his band and recorded the vocalist for his "New York" album, prior to Jones' own release of her monumental debut album Come Away With Me (18 million sold, 8 Grammy awards). To follow up that project, Malick enlisted Kirsten's vocal and writing help for two songs for his next album, of which "Chance & Circumstance" (co-written and co-produced with Witkin) became the title track. Proffit's songs have already appeared in film and television. She performed three songs in Martin Short's Jiminy Glick in LaLaWood, and "Something I Can't Be" from this album was featured in TV's Dawson Creek. Her songs have also recently appeared in the DVD's for Dawson Creek, Party of Five and Felicity, as well as three songs in the full-length documentary Normal People Scare Me. For the 2006 Orange County Music Awards, Kirsten won "Best Female Artist" and was nominated for "Best Female Acoustic Live Performer". Secure online purchase will be handled by 2Checkout.com,

| WELCOME - Mat Callahan & Yvonne Moore | ||
![]() |
Produced by Mat Callahan WELCOME is the debut release from the new collaboration of long-time artists Mat Callahan and Yvonne Moore. The disc features 14 “new folk” - oriented tracks written and produced by Callahan, a superb, distinctive songwriter. Together they have formed an acoustic duet that explores the possibilities of close harmony singing, acoustic intimacy and poetic storytelling. The vocal intensity for which they are both well-known remains. But accompanied only by an acoustic guitar, the intricate blend of two voices reveals another dimension to their artistry. Includes re-workings of the Looters’ classics “Johnny Refused” (from Jericho Down) and “Proving Ground” (from Imago Mundi). “Their name stands for strong rhythms, powerful voices and an exuberant performance. Their music is a potpurri of black and white: it lives on soul, is stamped with blues, folk and r&b also leave their mark. One guitar, two voices and a harmonica create a rarely heard wealth of facets. After eight years of collaborating on their respective solo projects, Mat Callahan and Yvonne Moore put their trust in the creative potential of the duet. Welcome is a successful concurrence of two musical careers that have their roots in different styles. What Callahan and Moore create in their live-in kitchen, they simply call “New Folk”. Welcome is a passionate creation with profound songs inciting reflection, but never losing fervor!” Secure online purchase will be handled by 2Checkout.com,
